What Is The Locals Sheet?

I noticed a sheet in my model called Locals. What is this for? Can it be removed?

Answer

The locals sheet can be used by budget managers to create level-specific assumptions that they want to reference in formulas during planning for more granular planning. For example, a manager might use the budget sheet to keep track of the supplies on hand for his department. The data on the sheet can be referenced in other areas, but it is on a level-by-level basis (meaning that one level's Locals sheet can be completely different than another level's sheet).

The Locals sheet is a legacy sheet within the system that is not presently utilized. It will not be turned on by default in instances.
