What is the difference between Circular Guage Dials and Meter Dials?
Circular Meter dials are virtually identical to the familiar Circular Gauge dial. The only difference between the two is the Circular Meter’s look and feel, which is more modern than that of the Circular Gauge. Both dials have a fixed scale and are therefore best suited to display percentage or ratio values.
Here are the differences that can be seen in the visualization of the Circular Meter dial compared to the Circular Gauge dial:
The series name displays as center-aligned instead of the dial name.
The data value will be displayed within the dial instead of below the dial.
The value will be indicated visually through a color fill instead of a meter pointer. This color fill can be selected via the Pointer Color field in the Appearance tab of the Data Settings editor.
No data interval labels will be shown on the axis arc.
